Branding and logo design for North Para Plumbing involved concepts of fluidity, water and flow.
The brief was for a modern and simple brand with a retro vibe.
In the logo, Jay used the graphic design principle of the 'Golden Ratio', a maths application for natural balance and aesthetic value. The Golden Ratio is found all through nature and a perfect approach for a plumber...without the crack.
Steve Rogers Metal Sculpture
This design project involved branding, web design and content, and photography for an eclectic metal artist on the Yorke Peninsula.
Steve's art and his location inspired the brand which included concepts of salt, sand and erosion of the peninsula and prominence of weathered farming machinery.
The brief was the showcase the tone and feel of the artist and his work.
Logo and branding for our local pop-up cafe was about stating the obvious in an way that promoted friendship and community.
The logo concept centred on the sustainable and the local.
The tones are natural, welcoming and fun - a prominent characteristic of the cafe, it's ethos and it's owner.
Vardo is an online homewares store with Dutch/Scandi influences. Work for this project included branding, website design, business cards, product photography, social media strategy, posts and graphics.
Inspiration came from Scandi folk designs, which were evident in Vardo's tableware and the owner's strong connection to her Dutch culture.
This project was a logo and brand refinement. We kept the tone of their original design, adjusted the layout and used a clean font. Aesthetic of all branding stems from the curvature of the spine featured in the logo.
KidTrack is a mobile app which allows parents to monitor their children's mobile phone activity.
The challenge with this logo was to avoid presenting the app as intrusive or project the idea of spying on children.
The concept of safety is shown through a parent and child holding hands on the mobile screen - parental support through technology.
THis project involved a logo design for festivalkits.com.au. The concept of the business was to supply everything needed to get you through a full weekend music festival.
The design presents the idea of a festival environment wrapped up in a nice little package.
Copper Coast Ceilings
This logo was designed for a gyprock company in the Yorke Peninsula. In researching competitors' logos, I noticed most featured roofs but not ceilings...odd.
But ceilings are not that easy to depict in a logo. The design became more and more simple with each review, resulting in a clean, geometric logo, showing the corner of a room from the ceiling's perspective.
The colour scheme stemmed from the natural tones of the Yorke Pennisula landscape.
